No cash on hand
Your kid finished a task, but there’s no small cash around. The reward slips to “later” — and the moment of motivation is lost.
Your child completes tasks, earns real money and saves up for goals. You keep the books, set the interest and see all the progress.
“Teaching kids sound financial habits at an early age gives all kids the opportunity to be successful when they are an adult.”
· PocketPal turns financial education into daily practice.
A simple system for tasks, rewards, savings and a child’s first money decisions.
Your kid finished a task, but there’s no small cash around. The reward slips to “later” — and the moment of motivation is lost.
You might track things your own way, but a child needs a simple space to see their own tasks, rewards, balance and goals.
Money makes more sense when the child makes the call: spend now, set it aside for a goal, or save up more.
Three steps, and your child gets how money works.
You create tasks with a reward. Your child completes them — you confirm and the money is credited.
Your child sets a goal — a gadget, a toy, a trip. They watch the progress and see: two more tasks and the dream is theirs.
Savings earn interest. The child sees it: the longer you save, the more you get.
Your child sees their balance, tasks and goals. Simple, clear and motivating.
This is real money, kept by the parents. The child can ask for it any time.
They see how far the dream is. Every task is one step closer.
Clear what to do and how much you’ll get. Check it off — then wait for confirmation.
The child watches the balance grow on its own. A first savings lesson — no lectures.
See everything: who earned what, which tasks are waiting for confirmation, how much each child has saved.
All your kids’ savings in one view: what’s earned, what’s set aside for goals. No more “I forgot” — it’s all logged.
Money isn’t credited automatically. You review and confirm every task.
Create your own tasks, set prices, tune the interest rate. All shaped around your family.
Each child has their own balance, tasks and goals. One account per family.
Every Monday and on the first of the month an email arrives: what was earned, where the money went, how savings are growing. Nothing to open or add up.
Both parents get the email, each addressed by name. Turn it off or keep only the monthly one in settings.
Earned and spent, a breakdown per child, balances by currency and rates. Growth and dips are both visible — plenty to talk about with your kid.
A full statement per child is attached, with the balance after every operation. The email itself stays free.
Not game currency. The balance is real money held by parents: the child gets it on request.
Money is credited only after a parent confirms. No automatic withdrawals.
An adjustable rate. The child watches the balance grow — and gets how saving works.
Several kids, one account. Each has their own balance, tasks and goals.

Yes. Turn on “shared device” mode in settings — each child signs into their own profile with a PIN. Everyone has their own balance, tasks and goals. One phone or tablet per family is enough.
Interest helps a child reach their dream a little faster — and shows, hands-on, how saving works in the real world. The child sees: the longer the money stays in the account, the more it becomes. That small daily “surprise” builds the habit of saving instead of “spending now”.
PocketPal is a financial system you learn by playing. Like any game, it needs money “loaded in” — and paying for tasks is how that happens. A child doesn’t get money “for nothing” — they earn it through extra effort beyond their usual duties. Cleaning up after yourself and brushing your teeth aren’t tasks, they’re the norm. But unloading the dishwasher, walking the dog, helping with a younger sibling — that’s “work” in PocketPal. Effort → result → money → choice. That’s how financial literacy works in practice.
Yes, on the Premium plan. Each child can keep several wallets in different currencies: say, tenge from grandma and dollars from a trip abroad. Each currency has its own balance, its own interest and its own history.
Two ways. (1) Request cash: on their screen the child taps “Withdraw cash” — you get a notification, hand over cash or transfer to a card, then confirm in the app and the balance goes down. (2) Ask you to buy something with their money — a food delivery, a subscription or a toy from an online shop. You pay with your card, then log the purchase for the child in the app: the amount and what it’s for. The child sees the purchase, confirms it — and only then is it deducted from their balance. Either way the money leaves only after both sides explicitly confirm — no silent withdrawals, the savings stay “theirs”.
No — by design. PocketPal never connects to bank accounts or cards, never asks for card details and never moves money. Your kid’s money is real, but it stays with you: the app keeps the books — what was earned, what is set aside for a goal, how much interest has added up. You hand over cash in person, pay for purchases with your own card and record them in the app. So there is no partner bank, no kids’ debit card and no age limit — PocketPal works in any country and any currency.
Yes. No ads inside, no in-app purchases, no contact with other users. The money is real but stays with the parent: PocketPal keeps the ledger, it doesn’t hold funds — it isn’t a bank and never links to bank cards or accounts. Only the family sees the child’s data. The child’s PIN login protects their profile on a shared device.
